For vault depositors

Read the vault before the rate.

A curated vault is still a set of onchain exposures. Tulipa gives depositors a public path from the displayed rate to the mandate, positions, risks, methodology, freshness, and known gaps behind it.

Plate D.01 Four points of inspection

Rate is one observation inside the decision—not the decision itself.

Decision note 01

Curation is a risk-management layer, not a guarantee. Depositors remain responsible for deciding whether a vault’s mandate and risks fit their own circumstances.

01

What you are entering

the product, without the shorthand

A vault is a mandate expressed through positions.

A Tulipa-curated vault is an onchain product whose approved mandate and risk parameters Tulipa helps curate. Capital may be allocated across protocols, assets, and counterparties within that mandate.

Exact roles, permissions, fees, withdrawal mechanics, and implementation differ by vault. The live dashboard, underlying contracts, and source documentation—not a category label—are the record to inspect.

Curator
Frames and monitors the agreed risk mandate.
Vault
Holds the onchain positions and defines permissions.
Depositor
Assesses fit, risk, evidence, and exit conditions.

Assessment framework

four questions before capital

01

Mandate

What is the vault allowed to do?

Inspect

Eligible assets, target use of capital, stated constraints, curator permissions, fee terms, and conditions for changing the mandate.

02

Positions & concentration

Where is the capital actually deployed?

Inspect

Underlying protocols and tokens, position weights, shared dependencies, counterparty concentration, and the difference between current and permitted exposure.

03

Risk & liquidity

What could impair an exit?

Inspect

Liquidity depth, withdrawal mechanics, oracle and bridge dependencies, collateral quality, maturity mismatch, and any unavailable risk evidence.

04

Rates & evidence

What exactly does the displayed yield mean?

Inspect

APR versus APY, measurement period, compounding and fee treatment, source, observed-at time, freshness, and whether history is comparable.

03

The evidence path

Public curation ledger

Follow the claim back to its source.

The dashboard is the live inspection surface for Tulipa-curated vaults: inventory, TVL, composition where available, APR and APY observations, methodology, freshness, and unavailable states.

How the curator works

The same questions should survive after deposit.

Tulipa’s methodology describes the continuing process for framing, assessing, calibrating, and observing risk. It supports due diligence; it does not replace it.

Depositor inquiry

A better vault decision begins with a better question.

Reference the vault and the evidence you could not resolve. The contact route prepares a depositor-specific email brief.
